Relax and enjoy some incredible views along the River.

Activities abound in Riverton. The river is a regular destination. Both residents and visitors enjoy strolling along the beautiful tree-lined bank and watching the Delaware drift by.

If you are looking to get out on the Delaware River, look no further than the Riverton Yacht Club — one of the oldest clubs of its kind in the country. Several fleet sail out of Riverton and weekly races are held each Wednesday. The club also hosts a number of regattas throughout the summer and fall.

One of Riverton residents' favorite recreational spots is Riverton Park where tennis courts, basketball courts, baseball diamonds, soccer fields, and even a large, modern playground can all be found. Within the park are numerous hiking trails, including one that runs adjacent to picturesque Pompeston Creek. A number of pocket parks can also be found throughout the community. They present opportunities for fishing, kite flying, bird watching, and more.

Palmyra Cove is another outdoor escape for Riverton's residents. Only a few minutes away, it offers more than 250 acres of preserved wetlands, tidal coves, and wild river shoreline. Whether for exploration or education, Palmyra Cove is the place to be.
