Shopping, sight seeing, and sporting events are some of the many reasons to visit Manayunk.

In addition to Manayunk's Main Street and its multitude of recreational opportunities, there are a number of special events and festivals that regularly attract visitors from throughout the region.

Known nationwide, the Commerce Bank Triple Crown of Cycling — Philadelphia International Championshipis held in early June.  This event brings the world's best cyclists to town and attracts fans and spectators from all over, creating an exciting and enthusiastic atmosphere for participants and observers alike.

The Manayunk Arts Festival is another favorite during the month of June.  Main Street shuts down to traffic and opens up to artisans, craftsmen, and vendors from all over.

While these events are a big draw, the weekly event "Meet Me in Manayunk" is always a great opportunity to experience all the community has to offer. Held every Thursday, many of Manayunk's restaurants offer food and drink specials, live music, and more.

Another regular attraction is Second Saturdays, which typically begin in early April and last throughout the summer. These events are designed to protect and preserve Manayunk's waterfront through education and community involvement.
