Doylestown Borough

In 1813, Doylestown Borough was designated Bucks County’s County Seat for its location at a major crossroads of a largely agricultural area.
The governmental center of Bucks County, the Borough stands in the heart of the rapidly growing Central and Upper Bucks County. It offers a number of local and regional business opportunities, and provides tremendous access to business and employment opportunities in Philadelphia and New York. All of these factors combined bring businesses to the Borough and contribute to its continued economic growth.
A vibrant cultural and retail district is another reason businesses do better in Doylestown Borough. Tourism is a big draw. Visitors come to town to enjoy one of its many museums, and often make a day of it, stopping to shop on Main Street, grab a bite to eat, and enjoy a movie before spending the night at one of the Borough's bed and breakfasts or heading home.
