Doylestown
Rural beauty and historic homes give Doylestown Borough its distinct identity.

Low crime, excellent schools, great healthcare, first class governmental services, and an enviable list of cultural, recreational, entertainment, and social opportunities all contribute to what makes Doylestown Borough a wonderful place to live. But first and foremost, its sense of community is the Borough's primary attraction.

Year-round gathering places include the Art Deco County Theater, one of the many fine restaurants or quaint coffee shops that line Main Street, the Public Library, nearby museums, and Doylestown Borough's many houses of worship.

When warm weather rolls around, residents often enjoy outdoor dining, hiking and biking on the Borough's growing trail system, or simply playing in one of its many parks. The Sounds of Summer Concert Series, Fanny Chapman Pool, the Central Bucks YMCA, the Community Garden, and even the Youth Fishing Program at the Borough Dam are all places where the community congregates.

The Borough's housing stock is a well-maintained mix of Victorian homes and other traditional architecture that reflects Doylestown’s history and progress over the years. The average home price is $370,000, and residential rents average $780 a month.
