Along Butler Avenue, Ambler's main street, you will find a number of locally owned businesses that serve the surrounding community.

Main Street is Ambler's commercial and economic center. It offers a mix of retailers, restaurants, professional services, and more. Connections to public transportation, large municipal parking lots, and accessibility to Route 309 and other major transportation arteries make it easy for clients and customers to come and go.

Largely residential, Ambler is a transit-oriented community. While there are a large number of opportunities to work in Ambler, many residents commute daily via public transportation to Philadelphia for employment, and others commute to locations in surrounding Montgomery County.

Commercial rents range from $16 to $25 per square foot.
